Brady takes the snap, he drops back to pass, there's a receiver open in the end zone - he's under pressure... TOUCHDOWN Patriots!
Had you been watching Tom Brady's first Super Bowl appearance in 2002, you might have heard an announcer exclaim the words above as Tom Brady - the greatest of all time - threw his first of what would become at least 18 Super Bowl touchdowns.
Since that weekend in 2002, Tom Brady has appeared in 9 other Super Bowls, including the one to take place this weekend. After an illustrious 20 year career with the New England Patriots, Brady took to the open market and decided try his luck in the NFC with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In total GOAT fashion, Brady led the Bucs in his first season with them to an NFC Championship and Super Bowl birth.
In addition, not since 1984, when the San Francisco 49ers took on the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XIX, has a team had home field advantage in a Super Bowl. This weekend the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be attempting to break the curse of teams getting embarrassed in their own house.
However, standing in the way of Tom Brady's 7th Super Bowl title, is none other than Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Tyler, TX native, Patrick Mahomes, is the front-runner - if there even is one - to break Brady's records and stake his claim as the greatest quarterback of all time.
While, only 24, Mahomes has been able to accumulate quite the record of accolades in the NFL. Having only been in the league since getting drafted 10th overall by the Chiefs in 2017, he has already earned himself a Super Bowl championship, a Super Bowl MVP, and a league wide MVP award.
Going into the matchup in Tampa this weekend, there are many questions people look to have answered.
Can Brady still hang with the up-and-coming next generation that is Pat Mahomes? Is there reason to believe in the Super Bowl home field advantage curse? Which quarterback will stake their claim in the history books? Brady with title number 7? Or Mahomes with a stellar performance against the notable greatest of all time?
All questions I look forward to having answered on Sunday.
Now, aside from the hype around all of the storylines, it's time to get down to the real order of business - who to put your money on?
For all you gambling degenerates out there, I'm legally obligated to say that the remainder of this article is in no way gambling or financial advice. If you have a problem gambling please call the National Problem Gambling Helpline Network at 1-800-522-4700.
Alright, now that 95% of my friends have left the article, we can continue.
It's hard to bet against the Chiefs favored by 3 points, according to William Hill sports book. If I had to put my life savings on a bet it would be the Chiefs moneyline, Chiefs spread, Chiefs team total, and just about anything else I could bet on the Chiefs for.
However, I'm going with my heart and not my head. Tom Brady is a winner. Bucs moneyline (+140) is the way to go and if you're betting against a guy who's won SIX SUPER BOWLS, then you have more willpower than I.
In addition, you've got to bet the over on the amount of seconds that the national anthem will go - it's an age old classic and deserves to have every note held on to until the very last breath. We all know that Mr. Misunderstood, Eric Church will "Springsteen" himself to a "Record Year" and go over 1:59 seconds. Take the free money.
In closing, I'd just like to say that no matter what happens in this crazy world...the Super Bowl is the one day of the year that Americans can come together for a beer, some chicken wings, and some Clydesdale Budweiser horses - make the most of it.
The official time and date of Super Bowl LV is Sunday, February 7th at 5:30pm.
Prepare yourselves for a great game and comment who you pick to win below on this post.

Great article. I like both QBs, so I’m hoping for a great game for both of them!
