Sorry, I'm Back - An Update On Life

Welp, I'm back.

I'd like to offer a huge thanks to those who've patiently waited for a new article, and for those who could care less - thanks for reading this one.

Today I'm going to address a few topics:

Before My Recent Hiatus

My last article - over a month ago - was about a hell of a musician named Jacob Stelly. If you missed that article feel free to check it out here.

I have another interview coming out soon about another member of Honcho Music Group, and fellow musician Slade Coulter - check back later this week for that feature story.

I also have a few more articles already in the queue for y'all but had to put them on a brief hold as I awaited approval from my new company.

Which takes me to why I had to take a break.

Why I Had To Take A Break

It's not as fancy as it sounds when I say I had to get approval from my new company.

Basically, I started a new job - which I've been loving so far - and they just had to make sure my website wasn't misrepresentative of their values, impairing independence with our clients, or considered a form of competitive employment.

Good news - it wasn't. So, I'm back in action and ready to get back to writing about all things business, sports, music and everything else that no one wants my opinion on.

Exciting, right?

Well I'm pretty pumped about it, so if you have a moment out of your day feel free to share this post or any of your other favorites from my site with a friend - plenty more coming to fill the appetite of almost 11,000 of you readers around the world - THANK YOU!

Now, let's talk about today.

What I'm Up To Now

Today I'm a big boy working a full-time job and as I said before - loving it. However, my passion for writing has yet to waver.

I will be producing content on a ~hopefully~ more consistent basis for you guys and have some exciting news to talk about.

For one, the Fightin' Texas Aggies beat the Alabama Crimson Tide last week in what many are considering the best win of the Jimbo Fisher era in Aggieland. Backup QB Zach Calzada showed tremendous class and poise as he rallied back from two devastating losses to lead the Ags to a hell of a win.

Also, I'll be keeping you folks updated as the time gets closer but I tend to walk around with some sore legs these days - I'm running the Dallas Marathon in December and while I'm not stating any specific goals for time...I'm open to any wagers you might wanna place on how fast I can run 26.2 miles.

Anyways, there's a lot going on right now and I can't wait to share it all with you.

Thanks for sticking around and here's to the next 11,000 readers.

Much love,

Vin
